Our Best Practices

From quote to delivery, our entire process is built around making your experience at Lakeside Trading a great one. Part of that is staying environmentally friendly, and Lakeside Trading takes no shortcuts to ensure best practices. Since we first opened our doors, we regularly look for ways to improve our processes, and opportunities to eliminate waste.

Poly Outdoor Furniture

Our poly wood outdoor furniture is easy to own and will look great for many years. Our poly outdoor furniture is made by Amish woodworkers who care about quality and making comfortable, durable outdoor furniture.

Poly is made from the recycled plastic of post-consumer waste such as bottles, jugs and containers, and more. Known for its strength, our poly furniture is available in Adirondack chairs, benches, tables, and more.

Recycling & Reusing

There’s nothing more beautiful than the look of precious wood on our outdoor structures. We use the highest quality wood on our structures, but also find ways to reuse and recycle when presented with the opportunity.

Instead of making regular trips to a landfill, we save used wood sheds and reuse them on new outdoor projects, such as shed builds and other outdoor structures. We also repurpose as much scrap wood, like 2x4s, plywood, pallets, shingles, and paint, as we can to use on a variety of projects.

Our outdoor location and open air indoor facility eliminates the need for air conditioning, and we regularly recycle materials on our facility and on job sites.

Supporting Local Economy

Our team regularly stays involved with the community, and is proud to support the Narragansett community. Amongst the organizations we support is the Master Gardener Foundation of Rhode Island, which is committed to improving knowledge about the environment, and sustainable gardening practices through community education.
